The romantic family entertainer 'Ramaiya Vastaviya'

The romantic comedy that marks the debut of Girish Kumar along with gorgeous Shruti Hassan, Ramaiya Vastaviya is all set to air this Sunday, 8th March at 8 PM only on Zee Cinema. Directed by ace choreographer Prabhudheva, the film is an official remake of a standout Telugu hit ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’. Embellished with soulful compositions by melodious duo Sachin-Jigar, the film also stars brilliant performers like Randhir Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Sonu Sood and Vinod Khanna.

Ramaiya Vastaviya is a story of a rich young boy Ram (Girish Kumar) born to billionaire parents and brought up in Australia. While attending a family wedding in India, Ram encounters Sona (Shruti Hassan) a simple, traditional girl from Punjab. And thus begins a typical love-hate relationship, culminating into both wanting to marry each other. However Ram has one obstacle - Raghuveer (Sonu Sood), Sona’s over protective brother.

Will Ram win over Sona’s brother? Will Raguveer give his blessings to their marriage? Will Ram’s parents ever accept Sona as their daughter?
