  1. What are some of the key marketing initiatives that Deltin has undertaken to establish itself as a leading player in the industry?

‘Deltin’ delivers a unique blend of offering which is a mix of thrill, energy, entertainment, food & beverages and great service. Our patrons belong to various segments: some seek the thrill of live gaming, some visit for the experience, some for our gourmet cuisine and some just want to have fun.

The demographics vary as per the segment of the consumer but our guests represent men, women and family of varied age groups from different parts of India. The ‘Deltin’ experience, that is our class and our strong connect with our patrons, is something that they love about us. Deltin’s brand personality is a blend of three characteristics – emotional, provocative and friendly. It has always been a customer centric brand.

Being a leader in the luxury gaming & entertainment space for more than a decade, our efforts have always been to deliver what we promise. For us the communications and promotions have always been based on the needs & emotions of our guests and members.

Our marketing efforts are focused on four major verticals - Digital promotions & PR, Offline marketing, Loyalty & Rewards and curated events & experiences. Within these verticals, we give specific emphasis on performance marketing, inbound & content marketing, collaboration with influencers & content creators, direct communications to our patrons, loyalty promotions and a whole lot of exclusive events where people get to experience the ‘Deltin’ side of life. We don’t think anyone else in this segment understands it’s TG better than we do. So, naturally consumer connect is our biggest asset and at the core of our marketing strategy. That is what keeps us relevant always.

  1. What are the key factors that have contributed to Deltin's success in the market, and how do you plan to sustain this growth in the future?

Deltin stands apart in the industry thanks to its prompt acquisition of gaming licenses and investments in the development of top notch hospitality and gaming facilities, such as luxury hotels, floating casinos, and land-based casinos.  Deltin is committed to providing a premium and opulent experience, with the goal of making India a top destination for high-end gamblers and entertainment seekers on par with Las Vegas and Macau.

Deltin's constant dedication to customer happiness and personalized service is a major reason for the company's success. Deltin has achieved a high level of customer retention and positive word-of-mouth by listening to its customers and adapting its services to meet their unique needs.

  1. How do you project the growth of recently launched yet another land-based casino, Deltin Gold in Goa?

‘Deltin Gold’, situated in Sinq Prive Hotel, Candolim, is the fifth land-based casino and eighth overall under the Deltin brand, joining the ranks of other famous onshore casinos like Deltin Zuri, Deltin Suites-Goa, Deltin Denzong-Gangtok, and Deltin Casino International-Kathmandu. Deltin Gold provides an unparalleled luxury gaming, dining, and entertainment experience that are synonymous with Deltin's reputation for excellence. This newly opened brand in Deltin’s portfolio is part of the group’s strategic expansion plans to strengthen its presence in Goa and create India’s best gaming and hospitality experience for its customers. The casino boasts more than 145 gaming stations, including a dedicated kids' area and an indulgent VIP lounge. Additionally, the property features a multifaceted restaurant, complemented by an entertainment zone.

We are pleased to observe ‘Deltin Gold’ making its mark already as a premier onshore gaming destination. Our unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled hospitality and gaming experiences is reflected in this new addition as well.

  1. With regard to other domestic and international properties of Deltin Group, how do you plan to stay ahead of the curve? 

There are currently three offshore floating casinos in Goa – Deltin Royale, Deltin Jaqk and Deltin Caravela (renamed as Kings Casino); these are amongst the country’s most iconic offshore luxury gaming and entertainment destinations. Then we have five of India’s best land-based casinos, starting with ‘Deltin Zuri’ at The Zuri White Sand Resorts in South Goa, Deltin Gold at the Sinq Prive Hotel in the popular Candolim belt of Goa, Deltin Denzong at Hotel ITC Denzong Regency in Sikkim, Deltin Casino International in Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, Nepal and Deltin Suites Casino part of Hotel Deltin Suites in Goa.

Also, Deltin owns two 5-star hotels - Deltin Suites, a 106 room, all-suite hotel with a casino and The Deltin, a 176 room five-star hotel in Daman, which is an integrated resort with a proposed casino. All the company’s casinos and hotel properties fall under the umbrella ‘Deltin’ brand, delivering the signature ‘Deltin’ experience at every location.

  1. Can you shed some light on Deltin's CSR initiatives and how the company is giving back to the community?

Deltin and Delta Corp Ltd. firmly believe in betterment of the community it operates in. It’s continued sustainability and CSR interventions are focused on the following areas:

  • Skill & education development and providing employment to the local youth
  • Assistance & overall development of the poor & needy
  • Support to the local NGOs
  • Disaster relief
  • Sustainable Development
  • Promoting tourism
  • Creating a better community, a better nation
  • Couple of the very recent initiatives include:

Samruddhi Initiative - Developing and donating Samruddhi E Tanks to the Corporation of the City of Panaji for keeping the city of Panaji clean, green and well balanced. As a part of the initiative, Deltin has tied up with’ ‘Biofuel India’, and has engaged Samruddhi E Tanks, that will be deployed across the municipal areas of Panaji for cleaning and sanitation. Developed and made in India, these vehicles are eco-friendly and battery powered, designed for easy operation and efficient cleaning of roads, pavements, dividers, and gardens.

Fields of Dreams - Under this, Delta Corp, in association with Forca Goa Foundation (FGF)-the sister-concern of FC Goa, started their work to refurbish 3 grounds in Goa to convert them into ideal football grounds equipped with state-of-the-art playing surfaces with a sand base, efficient drainage and sprinkling systems, and other necessary infrastructure. Through this project, the sports infrastructure will be further strengthened to benefit local communities, providing them with improved sports facilities and opportunities. It will not only allow children to explore their talents and pursue their dreams but also other facilities for the community that include but not limited to a community hall, organic food gardens and areas for the elderly to gather. It will be a true amalgamation of how football can bring people together.

  1. What are your thoughts on the future of the gaming and entertainment industry, and how do you see Deltin positioning itself in this evolving landscape?

Considering the rapid growth in demand for leisure travel and tourism, with casinos playing a vital role, notably in Goa, the gaming and entertainment business in India seems good for the future. We are cautiously optimistic that this good momentum will endure in the post-pandemic world, notwithstanding the difficulties brought by the pandemic.

Deltin is well-positioned to take advantage of these shifts in the market. Our specialty is designing one-of-a-kind experiences that dazzle with an unforgettable mix of high-octane fun, top-shelf gaming, gourmet dining, and attentive, friendly service. We understand that our customers have varying tastes, therefore we design our services to appeal to a wide range of customers who are interested in various aspects of what we have to offer.

 

  1. Lastly, what are some of the upcoming projects or plans that Deltin has in the pipeline, and how do you envision these contributing to the company's growth and success?

As far as casinos are concerned, at present, the only states in India where live gaming(casinos) is allowed currently are Goa and Sikkim. In each of these gaming destinations, Deltin has already established a dominating presence. We are awaiting our casino license in Daman subject to regulatory approvals.

We are also present internationally with our casino at Kathmandu, Nepal.

On a short-term perspective, Deltin will continue growing its business and take it to the next level with a growing healthy income stream, backed by a robust growth in the gaming market in India. In the long-term Delta Corp is coming up with a dream project, i.e., an integrated Resort project in Goa spread across 100-Acre land, for which we have received in-principal approval from the Investment & Promotion Board. This will be one-of-its kind integrated resort having facilities like 5-Star Hotel, electronic casino, theme park, shopping mall, gaming zones, and an array of other family recreational activities. The Integrated Resort will enable Goa to attract an even wider traveler base. This will attract International Tourists that are attracted towards the IR concept coupled with the idea of visiting India for its culture and heritage; and Indian tourists, typically the outbound travelers, who flock to popular IRs in South East Asia.

Also, an existing offshore casino vessel of Deltin will be replaced with a much bigger vessel which will be unique and better than any casino people have experienced in India so far, the vessel is scheduled to be in river Mandovi in Goa next year.

As far as the brand is concerned, we are ready to ride the next wave of growth. Being an early mover along with a robust business and efficient management set-up, ‘Deltin’ is well poised for sustaining its leadership position in the market.
