Adgully has consistently celebrated and acknowledged the accomplishments of women entrepreneursand leaders in various sectors. One of our notable initiatives, W-SUITE, focuses on highlighting extraordinary women achievers in the Media & Entertainment, Advertising, Marketing, PR, and Communications industry. In this updated series, we aim to explore how women leaders adeptly manage their teams and overcome challenges in the dynamic landscape of their respective industries.

In an exclusive interaction with Adgully, Raadhika Khetarpal, Co-Founder, Radiant Sports, speaks about her journey being an entrepreneur and how she created a business out of content and was able to scale it, growing diversity in leadership positions, how organizations can effectively encourage and groom women leaders, and more.

How do you think the role and scope of women leaders has widened in the current market ecosystem?

In today’s market ecosystem, women leaders are breaking barriers, where merit triumphs over age and gender. As I navigate through launching ventures and engaging with diverse communities, I see the rising acknowledgment of women as formidable leaders. The echo of our voices strengthens as we prove our mettle through impactful performance, challenging stereotypes and reshaping the narrative.

Working alongside esteemed authorities and personalities like former President of India, Smt Pratibha Patil; Sports Secretary IAS Sujata Chaturvedi; President of Para Committee of India, Deepa Malik, and many more, I am privileged to be part of this empowering journey. In this transformative era, I’m not just a fortunate observer, but an active contributor, paving the way for a future where leadership knows no bounds.

As a prominent female leader in the industry, how have your experiences shaped your leadership style, and what unique strengths do you believe women bring to leadership roles?

As I continue my learning journey, my path as a female leader is defined by a leadership style rooted in humility, guided by an eagle’s vision, and fueled by meticulous attention to detail. With the overarching goal of making a meaningful impact on those I serve, I believe women contribute a distinct strength to leadership blending empathy, strategic foresight, and a collaborative approach. In cultivating inclusive environments, we foster a space where innovation and compassion flourish.

What is your mantra for maintaining a successful work-life balance in the new normal? According to you, what makes women the best in crisis management?

In the new normal, my work-life balance mantra centers on self-reflection and a spiritual approach, aiming to elevate human consciousness in all interactions. Guided by the Bhagavad Gita’s wisdom, “Perform your obligatory duty, because action is indeed better than inaction”, I surrender outcomes to a higher power. Focused on actions, I promote a profound connection with myself and others. Women excel in crisis management due to their inherent ability to blend empathy, resilience, and a collaborative spirit, navigating challenges with a holistic and compassionate approach.

What are the five most effective leadership lessons that you have learned?

Five invaluable leadership lessons that I’ve learned are:

  1. Embrace humility as a guiding force and promote a culture of learning and growth.
  2. Vision fuels progress! A clear and compelling vision inspires and guides teams towards success.
  3. Authenticity breeds trust, staying true to oneself fosters genuine connections and respect.
  4. Resilience is key, setbacks are opportunities for learning and innovation.
  5. Empower others, true leadership lies in enabling and uplifting those around you.

Gender sensitivity and inclusion in the new normal – how can organisations effectively encourage and groom women leaders in challenging times?

In the new normal, fostering gender sensitivity and inclusion demands action. It is about actively listening to women’s ideas, not just nodding. It is about igniting their ambitions by aligning them with the company’s vision, not pushing them into precast molds. And it is about fueling their growth with skill development and tech access, not leaving them stranded at the starting line. When we recognise and nurture the shared dreams that unite us, then women leaders take flight, propelling organisations and entire cultures towards inclusive and skyrocketing growth.
