On a candid chat, the handsome Ali Merchant said, “I was glad to be approached by the director of Adaalat for a second time. First time my fans had witnessed me playing a lead in an episodic of the show but this time they will view a different side of me. I will be essaying the role of a public prosecutor against the famous Ronit Roy. I have worked with him in the past and to work with him again has been a lovely experience. He is an extremely talented person with a great aura and command over his language. Working as a public prosecutor was a little difficult for me but Ronit Roy had been a great help so that I could get into the character. As per me, if the actual law results would be as fast and truthful as viewed in the show, then people would get justice sooner than never.
