BARC Week 43 sees highest ever Ad Volumes on TV since Week 16 of 2015

Week 43 (Saturday, 24th October 2020 to Friday, 30th October 2020) of BARC India data saw the highest ever Ad Volumes on television since Week 16 of 2015. Ad Volume of 38,705,978 million seconds recorded in Week 43 is the highest ever since Week 16 of 2015 on Television.

The festive season and big ticket properties such as IPL 2020, ‘Bigg Boss’, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ have led to this growth. Ad Volumes are also returning to normal (compared to Week 43 of 2018):

As per BARC data, ad volumes registered a growth of 2.1% in Week 43 over the 2nd highest week, and 5.7% growth over the 3rd highest week.

Hindustan Unilever continued to be the top advertiser across genres with weekly ad insertions of 270,510, followed by Reckitt Benckiser India with weekly ad insertions of 155,931.

Amazon.in, Dettol Antiseptic Liquid, Surf Excel Easy Wash, Lizol, and Glow & Lovely were among the brands with the highest weekly ad insertions in Week 43.
