BARC Wk 6 ratings: Colors remains at No. 1; Rishtey regains lost ground

BARC ratings for Week 6 (February 4-10) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 4+ Individuals] saw Colors retain its numero uno position. With cricket over, ‘Naagin Season 2’ returned to being the most watched show on Hindi GECs. Meanwhile, Rishtey regained lost ground this week and was back at No. 3. 

Colors continued in the No. 1 spot in Week 6. However, the channel witnessed a decline in its gross viewership from 643,963 in Week 5 to 625,658 recorded this week. Its show, ‘Naagin Season 2’, climbed up to claim its numero uno spot among shows on Hindi GECs in Rural & Urban, witnessing 12,465 Impressions (000s). 

Star Plus, too, continued in the second spot, garnering a gross viewership of 609140, a dip from 614,349 recorded in Week 5. 

On the other hand, Rishtey, which fell to No. 5 last week, jumped two places to be placed at No. 3 once again in Week 6. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 437,837, an increase from 435,105 recorded in Week 5. 

Zee TV slipped a notch to No. 4 this week, recording a gross viewership of 410,432, compared to 436,860 in Week 5. Its show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ was the second most watched show on Hindi GECs this week with 10,578 Impressions (000s). 

Star Utsav also slipped a notch to No. 5 in Week 6. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 405,037, a marginal dip from 406,468 recorded last week. 

Sony Entertainment Television remained unchanged at No. 6 this week, witnessing an increase in its gross viewership – from 378,383 in Week 5 to 404,351 this week. ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ was back at No. 5 among the top shows on Hindi GECs in Rural & Urban, garnering 8,904 Impressions (000s). 

Zee Anmol, which had climbed up two spots to be placed at No. 7 in Week 5, remained in this position this week as well. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 376,640, a marginal increase from 373,498 recorded last week. 

Life OK continued at No. 8 in Week 6 as well, recording a gross viewership of 373,056, compared to 367,714 recorded last week. 

Meanwhile, Sony Pal was back among the top 10 Hindi GECs in Rural & Urban in Week 6. Placed at No. 9, the channel garnered a gross viewership of 367,942. 

Sony SAB slipped a notch to be placed at No. 10 with a gross viewership of 332,092, compared to 338,203 in Week 5. 

DD National, which was placed in the tenth spot in Week 5, move out of the list of top 10 Hindi GECs in Rural & Urban.
