Deepika Padukone to participate in India's Got Talent Khoj 2

Deepika aka Pinky Palkar will be seen participating in COLORS' unique reality show, India's Got Talent Khoj 2 in Yash Raj Films' Lafangey Parindey.

The film's leading lady, Deepika Padukone plays a character called Pinky Palkar, a blind girl who is a powerhouse of talent and is born to fly! A fabulous dancer on skates, her life's ambition is only one ' to rise above all the "losers' living in her locality and carve a niche for herself. She will be seen participating in India's Got Talent in the film, to show the others that she can win in life.

It is with such unflinching courage and a strong will to achieve that Pinky Palkar decides to participate in India's Got Talent where ordinary people with extraordinary talent are recognized and appreciated. Also starring Neil Nitin Mukesh as One Shot Nandu, Lafangey Parindey is a story of grit and hope, where in the characters are ambitious and want to make it big in life. Talent is an intrinsic part of the film. Pinky does not consider her blindness as a handicap, but makes it her strength. A similar driving force is what defines the concept of India's Got Talent Khoj 2 that premieres on July 30; Fridays and Saturdays at 9pm on COLORS.
