ETV Bangla records highest TRPs for 'Idea Big Bangla Music Awards' among Hindi and Bangla GECs

BIG Live, the experiential marketing arm of Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd. which recently concluded the pioneering an first ever Music Awards for Bengal titled the "Idea BIG Bangla Music Awards 2010' ("IBBMA"), is riding high on the success of its televised show on ETV Bangla. The latest television ratings (Base Wk 32 ' 35 Average Vs Wk 36 ' Slot Performance) saw IBBMA skyrocket ETV Bangla's ratings in Kolkata, CS4+, delivering a TVR of 1.1, higher than any Hindi or regional general entertainment channel in the telecast slot of 8-10pm. In fact, for CS4+ in Kolkata + West Bengal, with a rating of 1.28, IBBMA has left competition far behind.

Backed with this success and the firm belief that regional music and overall entertainment is what works with the local populace, BIG Live is taking the awards deeper into the country and betting high on the Music Awards for Rajasthan and Punjab and Entertainment Awards for Oriya and Gujarat.
