Happy birthday Alia Bhatt: Celebrating the talented Bollywood star!
Alia Bhatt, one of the most sought-after actresses in recent times in Bollywood, is immensely brilliant and endearing. She made her acting debut as a child in Sangharsh (1999), playing the younger version of Preity Zinta. She made her acting debut as the lead in Karan Johar's Student of the Year (2012) starring Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, more than ten years later.
Alia is also a talented singer. Before making her playback singing debut in Highway, she received a brief education at A.R. Rahman's music academy. She also started her own clothing and handbag business and serves as an ambassador for a number of well-known companies. Also an environmentalist, Alia led the CoExist campaign in 2017 to increase public awareness of the condition of stray animals.
Her other films include Zoya Akhtar's musical drama Gully Boy, which is inspired on the underground rap scene in Bombay, and Meghna Gulzar's historical thriller Raazi, in which she co-stars with Vicky Kaushal. RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Ayan Mukerji's fantasy trilogy, the first of which is titled Brahmastra and also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor are some of her 2022 releases. Darlings and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani are some of her other releases. After that, she joined the Jee Le Zaraa girl gang (2023).
