Indian journalist Inderjit Rai of ABP News receives World Book Record award

In a prestigious ceremony held at the House of Commons of the British Parliament, Indian journalist Inderjit Rai, the executive editor of ABP News Channel in India, was honoured with the World Book Record Award for his groundbreaking contributions to forensic journalism. Rai was recognized as India's first and world's longest serving forensic journalist.

At the forefront of Rai's journey is ABP News, a leading Indian news channel renowned for its commitment to credible journalism. ABP News has played a pivotal role in fostering and promoting exceptional talents like Indrajeet Rai, reaffirming its dedication to upholding journalistic standards and ethics.

The ceremony, which saw a total of four awards being presented, highlighted Rai's exceptional dedication to forensic science and his role as a forensic trainer for police academies across various states in India. Alongside Rai, Detective Chem Mystery of the UK Police and Officer Ranji Sunigra of the London Metropolitan Police were also acknowledged for their remarkable achievements.
Simon Owens, the official representative of British King Charles III, emphasized the importance of societal contributions for peace, stating that Britain values those who make significant impacts. Congratulating Rai, Owens underscored the pivotal role of forensic science in combatting fake news and promoting peace.
