K Madhavan takes over as Chair of CII National M&E committee

K Madhavan, Managing Director, Star & Disney India has now been appointed as the Chair Of National Committee on Media & Entertainment for the year 2020-21 by CII.
He takes over this role from Sudhanshu Vats, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Essel Propack Ltd.
CII is still in the process of forming the National Council for 2020-21

Madhavan was appointed as the Country Manager of Disney and Star India in December 2019.
He oversees Star & Disney India's television business spanning across entertainment, sports, studio business in India and regional channels. He's responsible for driving business growth, innovation and content creation for the consumer.
