Under Sir
Martin’s stewardship, WPP is currently the largest agency network in the world.
‘30 Minutes with Martin Sorrell’ on CNBC-TV18 will be hosted by Anant Rangaswami, Editor of Storyboard & Senior Editor of Firstpost. Each month, Anant will speak to Sir Martin on recent and imminent developments from the world of media, advertising and marketing.
With ‘30 Minutes with Martin Sorrell’, CNBC-TV18 adds another top-notch, topical show to its illustrious line-up to provide programming that its viewers can continue to benefit from. By leveraging its global edge, CNBC-TV18 brings Indian audiences Sir Martin’s first exclusive monthly appearance on an Indian business news channel.
Among the key issues of immediate relevance that the show will cover this week, are twitter’s revenue model & valuation, the rumour that WPP will buy IPG, why big retail should be bothered about Chinese ambitions and finally Sir Martin Sorrell’s prognosis for calendar year 2014.
Speaking about this development, Anant Rangaswami, Editor of Storyboard & Senior Editor of Firstpost, said – “I’ve been interacting with and interviewing key decision makers in advertising and media for more than a decade. Sir Martin, because of his extraordinary understanding of the dynamics of an evolving media & advertising environment, combined with his often shocking candidness, both educates and entertains. Like Sir Martin says in the first episode, ‘I urge you to watch CNBC-TV18.’”
