Reality shows means big money for TV stars

Reality shows are current fad in the nation and small screen stars are cashing on this gripping concept.

Television actors who are not doing much and want to earn quick bucks are taking part in the shows. Bollywood's item queen Rakhi Sawant has now become 'reality TV queen' from 'item queen'.

The controversial starlet has appeared in about 10 such shows. These shows have not only helped her in shedding her "item girl' image but have also got her a steady source of income.

Apart from Rakhi other TV stars are also testing their reality TV skills. Tanaaz Currim and Bakhtiyar Irani are together in Colors' Bigg Boss season3.

Shweta Tiwari was also seen in some of the shows. Gaurav Chopra, Juhi Parmar, Shilpa Saklani, Apoorva Agnihotri and a lot of other known faces are being seen in reality shows these days.

A stint of about three months in reality shows fetches these actors anywhere between Rs15 lakh and Rs30 lakh in less than three months.
