Saregama takes a musical route to spread awareness on Corona Virus

The unfortunate outbreak of the Coronavirus has also heralded a new era of negative newsdemic bringing about an avalanche of myths and inaccuracy resulting in the further spread of panic and ambiguity amongst the masses. According to Dr. Tedros, WHO chief "Our greatest enemy right now is not the virus itself, it's fear, rumours and stigma."

Saregama, India’s largest and oldest music label has taken a step towards shouldering the responsibility of bringing about a halt to this deluge of information disorder and bring some solace in such unsettling times through the power of music.  Saregama Carvaan presents a video series that would witness the musical talents of the country to spread the Do’s and Don’ts of Corona in a musical way. The series is conceptualized along with its partner agency The Womb.

The series kick started with the renowned singer Shaan attempting to burst all misconceptions around pets transmitting the virus to humans. In the second video, popular singer Jonita Gandhi sings to spread awareness on keeping the hands away from the face to stop virus. The famous pianist Brian Silas also created a beautiful musical piece to bring in some solace in such times. The series will have works by various popular singers and musicians.
