Sony MAX brings the World Television Premiere of 'Toolsidas Junior'

Ashutosh Gowariker has given Indian cinema some of its finest and most revered films like Lagaan, Swades, Jodha Akbar to only name a few. And his latest ‘Toolsidas Junior’ brings to the fore the unexplored sport of 'Snooker' to Indian audience for the very first time. A complete family film for collective viewing that can be enjoyed by audience of all ages. Starring Varun Buddhadev as Toolsidas Junior, Sanjay Dutt as Mohammed Salaam and the late Rajiv Kapoor in his last film as Toolsidas.

Based on true events and set in Calcutta in the mid 90’s, a young child is determined to conquer life's challenges in order to reclaim his father's reputation. The film is a heartwarming, motivational yet simple story of a young, inspired kid, his love for Snooker, and the emotional heart-stringing relationship with his father. 

Written and directed by Mridul, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashutosh Gowariker, and Sunita Gowariker, is all set for the World Television Premiere on Sony MAX.
