'Student of the Year' debuts on Radio City 91.1 FM

FM Bole Toh Radio City 91.1 FM, one of the leading radio networks in the country, hosted an exclusive hosted an exclusive music album premiere of the much awaited movie of the season – Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ on ‘Kasa Kai Mumbai’.  The starry presence of director Karan Johar, debutantes Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt added bling to the launch. The album follows on close heels of the now popular ‘disco’ song from the movie that had been released 2 days before only on Radio City 91.1 FM and received phenomenal response nationawide.

 

The atmosphere was electric with excitement at Radio City 91.1 FM as Karan Johar spoke about his directorial venture after a gap of 2 years. In a delightful chat with RJs Salil and Archana, Johar shared his experience of working with newcomers for the first time. The debutantes sounded super-excited and were unanimous that they couldn’t have asked for a better launchpad. ‘Kasa Kai Mumbai’ laced with snippets of songs from ‘Student of the Year’ was irresistible for our listeners today, as always.

‘Student of the Year’ is a romantic comedy directed by Karan Johar and starring newcomers Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The soundtrack of the movie has been composed by Vishal Shekhar.
