Sunny Leone keen to retain her new image
Having carved a niche for herself, today she has made her presence felt in Bollywood and is in demand in the showbiz industry. Karenjit Kaur Vohra, better known as Sunny Leone, is an Indo-Canadian and American actress who has travelled a long journey to fulfil her dreams. She made her Bollywood debut with Pooja Bhat’s thriller Jism 2 and has also done films like Ragini MMS, Jackpot and an item song in Shootout at Wadala.
Leone who will now be donning the role of a host will soon be seen hosting MTV Splitsvilla 7 along with Nikhil Chinappa. On asking how the experience has been shooting for the same she excitedly said, “I would say I am a product of MTV since I’ve grown up watching the channel. I’ve done different things in the past but have realised that acting and reality television are vastly different. In reality television you don’t get time to fix things, you have to be yourself whereas in acting it’s all about rehearsals and touch ups. Hosting will make a difference in my life and my career; I love to enjoy my work and will surely love this too.”
Before entering Bollywood Leone was popular as an adult film star and pornographic actress. With time she created a different image of herself with her acting and dancing talents. Building an image and retaining it too can be tough but Leone who has achieved much in the recent past says, “I can’t escape my past. But with movies and shows that I am doing I know that my personality will change. I am a person who loves to enjoy work and be happy. Everyday gives a new experience and I am glad to be where I am today.”
Baby doll faced Sunny Leone is doing her best to woo her fans and enthral them with her acting and dancing talents and presently working on two Bollywood films titled Mastizaade and Tina and Lolo.
