#TikTokFoodie campaign on TikTok amassed close to 3 billion views

If you’re a fan of food and want to know what’s trending in India, then TikTok is the place to be. Food is another big theme on TikTok, which from centuries have been responsible for bringing people together to share stories that have been passed down from one generation to another. 

Today, we are here to introduce you to another source for access to easy and interesting recipes, one you never thought of using - TikTok. TikTok is the world’s leading short-video platform where users share interesting 15-sec videos. While the content is highly diverse, the platform has brought together users from across the country, including some popular chefs for their love for food. 

TikTok launched the #TikTokFoodie campaign to encourage users to share videos of food and promote Indian food culture. The challenge garnered close to 3 billion views and still going strong with creators like @ChefKunal, @RanveerBrar, @SanketSankpal, @YourFoodLab and @AmmaKiThali. Recently, Chef Kunal Kapoor was also crowned as the most followed food creator on TikTok with over 1 million followers.
