Twitter tests new feature; limit replies to followers only

Twitter tests a new option which would limit Tweet replies to followers only. As shared by reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong, the new process would provide an additional option in your tweet reply controls on top of the three that are currently available

The options that you can select to control your replies are as follow

• Everyone - The default, public Tweet option
• People you follow - Limiting your replies to only those you follow
• Only people you mention - The @handles that you've specifically noted in your tweet
