Venke Sharma leaves The Walt Disney Company, joins Sprinklr

Venke Sharma has resigned from his position at The Walt Disney Company, where he spent 11 years, most recently serving as the executive director of Consumer Strategy and Innovation. Reports indicate that he has joined Sprinklr, a comprehensive AI customer experience platform, as the global head of product strategy and vice president.

In his new role, Sharma will report to Amitabh Mishra, the chief technology officer at Sprinklr, overseeing the development of 'Sprinklr Insights', a product that offers market and competitor insights with an impressive 90% accuracy rate. His responsibilities will include enhancing the product's narrative, refining the go-to-market strategy, and simplifying execution to drive adoption within the software organization. During his tenure at Disney, Sharma successfully managed various aspects including customer relationship management, digital marketing, innovation, and consumer strategy.

In 2013, Sharma embarked on a directive to build and nurture CRM capacity within the Star India network. He spearheaded several successful campaigns, such as 'Satyamev Jayate' for Star Plus, the launch of the Pro Kabbadi League, the Indian Premiere League (IPL), and the memorable 'Mauka Mauka' for Star Sports. He played a key role in scaling CRM practices to manage a large volume of consumer responses across all channel brands, including Disney+.

Additionally, Sharma established 'The Distillery', which initially served as the nerve center of Disney Star driven by data, later evolving into a global insights center, collaborating with various Disney teams worldwide.

With over 24 years of experience, Sharma began his career as a general manager at Mudra Communications and has held positions at ARC Worldwide, Tribal DDB India, Star TV Network, and Leo Burnett Worldwide.

Sprinklr, headquartered in New York City, is an enterprise software organization specializing in client-focused operations, helping companies deliver personalized experiences to customers across modernized channels. The company boasts a client roster of over 1400 international brands and firms, including Samsung, Microsoft, and P&G, among others.
