Why is Spotify removing a bunch of Bollywood songs?

In the past few days some of the India's blockbusters songs have disappeared from the digital music streaming company Spotify. 

Soundtracks with millions of plays such as Kala Chasma from Baar Baar Dekho, Malhari from Bajirao Mastani to Apna Bana Le from Bhediya are some of the fan favourite songs which are missing from the platform. All these songs were produced by Zee Music. Netizens are calling out Spotify for this move because it has disrupted their playlists.

Zee Music has removed their content from Spotify due to license agreement issues. There is no timeline if and when it will return to spotify.

Prior to this Zee Music also had a license agreement issue with Apple Music.
