Will ‘Salaar 2’ see Kiara Advani and Prabhas pair up?

Kiara Advani, who has been part of some popular South films, is likely to star in Prabhas’ upcoming film, ‘Salaar 2’. There has been a lot of buzz around the casting of the film, and as per latest updates, Kiara is likely to be part of this film.

‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ had Shruti Hassan playing the lead. In the second part there is a possibility that Kiara might play an important role. However, it is still under wraps whether she will be featured as a lead or essay a special role, or feature in a song which will be incorporated into the story. The makers are said to be in the process of locking the cast and working out details of Part 2 soon.

The first part of ‘Salar’ was released in December 2023. It was directed by Prashanth Neel, who had also directed ‘KGF’. ‘Salar Part 1’ had also starred Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu and many other noted actors. It received positive feedback from the audience and performed well at the box office too. As soon as the first part was released, there was a lot of curiosity about Part 2. In the upcoming days a clearer picture will emerge about the leading lady. Vijay Kiragandur, one of the producers of the film, has already confirmed that ‘Salar Part 2’ is happening very shortly and they already have a story for the sequel ready with them. The movie is likely to be released in 2025.

‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ was the story of two friends who turn foes. The plot revolved around the future of a kingdom, power, violence and unfaithfulness.
