Review: Bigg Boss 11 – A fight already breaks out & celebrations too
Colors’ marquee show ‘Bigg Boss’ kicked off its 11th season on October 1, 2017 with the introduction of the 18 contestants. This season, the reality show sports the theme of ‘Padosi’. As in Season 10, this year too sees the entry of commoners in the Bigg Boss house, along with a smattering of some TV stars. Salman Khan once again dons the host’s hat, who will keep a sharp eye on the proceedings. Apply Fizz, Oppo Camera Phones, Clean and Dry, White Tone, Hindware, LG, Renault, Amazon, Samsung Galaxy Note, JK Wall Care, Philips, Zee Music and CP Plus are the sponsors on board.
The opening episode saw Varun Dhawan slipping into the host’s role, albeit for a short while, as he promoted his new film, ‘Judwaa 2’.
The Bigg Boss house, where all the action takes place, has always sported a cheerful and colourful décor – it’s a different matter that the house inmates are anything but a cheerful lot. For Season 11, a lot of changes have been done in the décor of the Bigg Boss house with pop art and even more vibrant colours. The house also features an underground chamber where a belligerent inmate will be confined as punishment.
As the gharwale and padosis spend the next 90 days in close proximity, it will be interesting to see what peek into human psychology ‘Bigg Boss 11’ will offer.
