Sun TV Board approves re-appointment of three independent directors

The Board of Directors of Sun TV Network, at a meeting held on March 28, 2024, has approved the re-appointment of three of its independent directors for a further period of five years. The terms of two of the directors is ending on March 31, 2024, while the third director’s term ends on June 20, 2024.

The re-appointment of Sridhar Venkatesh, Desmond Hemanth Theodore and Mathipoorana Ramakrishnan has been approved based on the recommendation of Nomination & Remuneration Committee. The new term for Sridhar Venkatesh and Desmond Hemanth Theodore is effective from April 1, 2024. Mathipoorana Ramakrishnan’s previous term, which ends on June 20, will begin her new term from June 21, 2024.

The re-appointment of these three-directors is subject to approval of the shareholders by way of postal ballot.
