12 Artists Performed Back To Back at the UNINOR CRY FREEDOM CONCERT -MUSIC FOR A REVOLUTION, Brought To You by Indigo Live on Saturday November 26th

Bangaloreans Cried Freedom on Saturday at the 10 hour long CRY FREEDOM CONCERT, conceptualized by Indigo Live and presented by Uninor. With an extraordinary ensemble of artists from varied genres, music lovers experienced the best of performances by the hugely talented and distinctive Indian musical talent.  This 10 hour unbridled LIVE concert captivated the audience with the impressive line-up of stellar performances; all bundled into a one spectacular musical treat at CounterCulture.

Brendan Power- who is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished players on both diatonic and chromatic – enthralled the audiences with a brilliant collaboration between Warren Mendonsa and Salil Bhatt. Indus Creed, Avial, Blackstratblues, Salil Bhatt, Bicycle Days, Inner Sanctum, The Indian Flamenco Project and Agam put up a great show and received an overwhelming response. The evening was hosted by the multifaceted Luke Kenny – who held the crowd together as he captivated their attention with his quick wit and charm asking them “What freedom meant to them?” He was seen making an instant and evident connection with the audiences- keeping them both entertained and engrossed with sheer ease.

The venue was bursting with young and fervent music lovers – truly depicting their slogan“Music For A Revolution”. Freedom to the youth of today has different connotations and means different things to different people: freedom from corruption, freedom to choose a career, freedom to live the way one wants to, freedom to earn, freedom to enjoy music, films, dance and other arts without too much censorship, or something as simple as the freedom to go out and party without too many restrictions.
