5W1H completes two successful years

In the year 2021, two young advertising professionals took upon themselves to question the way advertising is served to brands, and to customers. To look beyond selling and find creative solutions towards convincing people to choose. To build a team of creators who believe in the power of storytelling. To build a culture where creativity is not bound to profiles but is a way of thinking. To work with brands that believe in serving customers with an experience, more than just a product or a service.

“The 5Ws and 1H stand for WHY - WHAT - WHO - WHEN - WHERE - HOW. We dig deep with these simple, yet tough questions before seeking any solutions. We encourage people to spend more time trying to find answers to the right questions. It is these questions that give birth to effective solutions. Simply put, our mission is to find creativity in simplicity", says Aakash Chatterjee, Co-Founder & CCO.

“Good advertising is when you add value to a business by adding value to its customers. We are constantly looking towards serving our clients with solutions that add value to their business. We win when our clients win. We approach media buying from a creative lens and use data to optimise returns. Our vision is to build a business that helps build businesses", says Kunal Luhar, Co-Founder & CBO.


5W1H was formed in April 2021 with just five people. Their first wins included clients like HDFC ERGO, PNB METLIFE and DR. TRUST where they executed some interesting campaigns with celebrities like Rohit Sharma, Manoj Pahwa and Naresh Gosain and went to print media for a EMAMI ZANDUCARE project. The agency grew to a strength of fifteen people by 2022 and is currently the second home for 28 talented advertising professionals. Their current portfolio comprises brands like BUILD PROWL, ACCUCHEK, YES BANK, AQUATEIN, TOPCAN and SHOTT along with the past accounts. The agency recently launched the BUILD. PROWL range of products in collaboration with Tiger Shroff while handling packaging and end to end campaign production. They also launched a summer campaign for SHOTT, leveraging ATL and BTL channels across geographies.

In a market full of young as well as legacy advertising agencies, it is extremely difficult for someone new to stand out. Rather than trying complex business strategies, 5W1H found the solution in people.

With fast evolving technology and some serious changes in the landscape of advertising and marketing, 5W1H plans to embrace the change and adapt to the future needs of brands. As 5W1H completes two successful years, both the founders along with a young team of passionate marketers prepare to fight future challenges with creativity at heart.
