92.7 BIG FM Mumbai Station Brings Live the SURVIVOR India on ground experience

92.7 BIG FM, India’s No. 1 FM Network, and winner of Golden Mike Awards’ ‘Best Radio Broadcaster of the Year 2011’ along with Star Plus, today put together an innovative on-ground promotion at In Orbit Mall, Malad in an attempt to give the viewers a flavor of what the contestants of the much awaited Survivor India show are likely to experience.

In a specially constructed shack at the mall, many of the contestants including Abhinav Shukla, Payal Rohatgi, Priyanka Bassi, Karan Patel, JD Majethia, etc had to attempt to survive an entire day without the basic essentials inside the shack. The popular 92.7 BIG FM RJ Nitin interacted with the contestants bringing all the action live to the listeners of the radio station.

In a true representation of the reality game show, the shack built was very bare and RJ Nitin gave some of the people who gathered an opportunity to participate in some of the challenges which they could perform with the contestants of Survivor India.

Some of the highlights in the main show included Payal Rohatgi snatching clothes from women’s section at a mall & hungry Rajesh Khera seen eating from other people’s plates in restaurants.

The activation received enormous public response as it had the excellent combination of their favorite jocks on radio and their favorite reality program on television. RJ Nitin was drowned with requests and queries pertaining to the show with all people wanting to share their experiences in a bid to go on air.
