9X Jhakaas: Maharashtra's first Marathi Music Channel launched

9X Media Group, which operates the No. 1 Hindi Music Channel 9XM and the No. 1 Punjabi Music Channel 9X Tashan; has launched Maharashtra's First Marathi Music Channel called 9X Jhakaas. Targeted at the confident and go-getter Marathi Music lovers and the Maharashtrian youth, 9X Jhakaas will air the best Marathi film & non-film songs interspersed with short humorous animated shows. The Channel's tagline - "Aai Shappath!' is in sync with 9X Jhakaas' aim to offer a scrumptious treat of complete entertainment to Marathi Music lovers and giving them a Jhakaas experience.

9X Jhakaas will be the first of its kind, only Marathi Music Channel and will be widely available across satellite and cable homes. The Channel will be streamed LIVE online on the channel's website ' www.9xjhakaas.in and on the Mobile platform.

9X Media is also planning an extensive marketing campaign to promote the channel amongst the Marathi music lovers. The campaign will communicate the channel's brand promise "Life Banawel Jhakaas' and add zing to the consumer's life. The marketing activities include print campaign, outdoor and radio promotions. Also planned is an association with the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) which connects the interior cities of Maharashtra. 9X Jhakaas will distribute free tickets to commuters on State Transport (ST) buses plying between key cities across Maharashtra keeping the brand promise making consumers' life Jhakaas ' Aai Shappath!
