A student is a reflection of his/her teacher: Rajesh Shringarpure

We all know that teachers are fundamental in shaping their students success. A teacher’s motivation and way of teaching directly affects a student’s success of learning and development.

Sony Entertainment Television’s magnum opus ‘Punyashlok Ahilyabai’ showcases the life journey of Queen of Malwa ‘Ahilyabai Holkar’ and how her courage, unconventional ideology, determination paved the way for so many women. The current track of the show is all about young Ahilyabai wanting to learn and educate herself. She wants to be treated equally like her husband ‘Khande Rao’ and have the same opportunities.  

Actor Rajesh Shringarpure, who essays the pivotal role of ‘Malhar Rao Holkar’ i.e. Ahilya’s father-in-law in the show, has a strong opinion when it comes to gaining knowledge and education. He feels that students are a reflection of their teachers.

Talking further about the same, he said, “Knowledge and education are the basis for all things that can be accomplished in life. And it’s the teachers who provide the power of education to today’s youth, thereby giving them the possibility for a better future. The children of today are the leaders of tomorrow, and teachers are the critical point who make a child ready for their future. They have a deep influence on them and help shape their minds and thought process. So, yes it won’t be wrong to say that a student is a reflection of his/her teacher.”
