Aaj Tak most-watched news channel in poll weeks: BARC India data

Aaj Tak emerged as the most-watched news channel in week 49 of BARC India data, encompassing the rolling average of weeks 46-49. The period was marked by significant news events, including a rescue operation in the Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarakhand, and Assembly polls in five states. Aaj Tak claimed the top spot with a relative share of 13%, a notable ascent from its previous position at No. 4.

Following closely was TV9 Bharatvarsh, registering a 12.9% relative share, experiencing a significant decline from 16.5% in Week 45. News18 India secured the third position with a relative share of 12.9%, while India TV at No. 4 held a 12.3% relative share. Republic Bharat observed a 0.5% increase in relative share but maintained its fifth position with an 11.7% share.

Times Now Navbharat held the No. 6 spot with a relative share of 7.7%, while ABP News reported a 0.4% rise in relative share, securing the No. 7 position with 7.1%. News Nation occupied the No. 8 position with a relative share of 6.2%, and Zee News, gaining momentum in recent weeks, claimed the ninth spot with a relative share of 5.6%. Good News Today rounded out the top 10, securing a relative share of 4.8%. News24 garnered a relative share of 3% and maintained its No. 11 position.
