Abhay Ojha to be appointed CEO of ZMCL

The Nomination and Remuneration Committee of Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL) has recommended Abhay Ojha to be appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the company. 

The Committee has advised the ZMCL management to file the necessary application with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) for obtaining the prior approval of the Ministry for Ojha’s appointment, as required under the Up-linking Guidelines. 

This was informed by ZMCL to the bourses. 

Ojha was appointed Chief Business Officer for all linear channels, excluding Zee Business and WION, in November last year. Upon joining ZMCL in February 2022, Ojha was appointed Head of P&L for Cluster 3. He was previously CEO of Changa. Additionally, he has held leadership positions at HUL and Star.
