Accenture leadership rejig: Ajay Vij and Sandeep Dutta to take charge

Ajay Vij has been given the newly established position of Country Managing Director by Accenture. Its India Market Unit will now be led by Sandeep Dutta.

The company also announced that Rekha M. Menon, Senior Managing Director and Chairperson for Accenture in India, will be retiring on June 30.

The newly appointed individuals will now handle the majority of the Chairperson's duties. Ajay Vij will have additional responsibilities as the Corporate Services & Sustainability lead for India. In his new role as country managing director he will provide comprehensive leadership and promote coordinated decision-making for important company initiatives.

Sandeep Dutta, the India Sales Lead, will now be in charge of leading Accenture's India Market Unit as the country's business lead, with a particular focus on growth, market differentiation and clients.
