Acer India enters into monitor business

With the launch of four new monitors - KX 1563, KX 1853, HX 1953 and FHX 2153, Acer further strengthens its dominance in the monitor market in India. An undisputed leader in the overall TFT monitor category for the last 16 quarters with a strong market share, the company has consistently launched innovative products to address the requirements of a cross-section of consumers across the country.

Acer Gateway HD LED ready monitors offer a contrast ratio of 100 million: 1 resulting in brilliant picture quality without compromising on performance. Featuring a resolution of 1366 x 768, consumers can enjoy stunning visuals while watching movies or other video content.

Boasting of a quick response time enabling fluid and clear video playback and smooth transition of images, the monitors boast of Gateway OD (overdrive) technology that improves the gray-to-gray level, which is the most important factor for enhancing the appearance of motion. The LED monitors are also Energy Star compliant, thereby consuming less energy and making it more energy efficient.
