ad:tech New Delhi 2012: Day 1 at a glance

Ad:Tech New Delhi gave a kick off start. Unprecedented turnout, house-full sessions and exhibition area packed to capacity with leading digital experts from India and 15 other countries!! The sessions showcased India's growing digital prowess on the global map. Second consecutive year, the capital is hosted the world's number 1 digital marketing event. The conference and exhibition is featuring 18 panel discussions & presentations, 14 workshops, over 70 hottest digital media companies, and 7 keynotes sessions.

The first keynote presentation was by Shiv Singh, Global Digital Head, PepsiCo, on Real-Time Marketing in a Hyper-Connected Ecosystem, cited several mass scale, digital examples to show how a concerted real time strategy involving insights, response, content studio, co-creation, distribution and engagement, is the most important strategic imperative for marketers around the world today.

He said, "At Pepsico our ultimate goal is to create value and values comes through higher price points." Giving a brief about the on-going scenario on the digital front, Singh said,
