Akbar Ka Bal...Birbal and Gangs of Filmistan to air on Star Bharat

With the three magical words Lights, Camera & Action;Akbar Ka Bal…Birbal & Gangs of Filmistaan begun their shooting and are all set to enter our houses on the 31^st of August. The shows brings back on TV two of the finest comic actors of the industry in the form of Ali Asgar & Sunil Grover, both leading their way in their respective fiction shows simultaneously. Star Bharat with these two launches begins its renaissance in this new normal era.

 Produced by Nikhal Sinha’s Triangle Films Company, Akbar Ka Bal... Birbal brings back the legendary duo of Akbar and Birbal amongst the viewers. Both Ali Asgar and Vishal Kotian who are coming together on-screen after 22years are essaying the character of Akbar and Birbal. Interesting narratives will unfold and showcase the friendly and joyful association between King Akbar and his favorite character courtier Birbal, known for his wit and wisdom. 

The show will be a complete delight for the viewers which promises laughter and showcases the fact that every complex problem has the simplest solution.

Aditi Sajwan a very talented actress will be seen playing the role of Rani Saheba in the show while the beautiful Charu Asopa will be seen essaying the role of Tara Bai. 

 When spoken to Ali Asgar about the show he said that “I feel really glad to have got an opportunity to be a part of a historical show as such. People have seen me playing a different character and has given lots of love to the previous characters that I have played. This new show will bring out the new Ali who has got in an opportunity to be associated which such an amazing star cast. We have put in a lot of efforts for the show.  Along with the exciting fiction show, Star Bharat is adding another feather to its hat by bringing in the first ever comedy show based of Bollywood spoofs on its channel -‘Gangs of Filmistan’. Gangs of Filmistan is a show that lives and breathes Bollywood and has a lot to offer to all the fans out there. The powerhouse of talent Sunil Grover will be seen returning on your screens along with an exhilarating ensemble that includes the very beautiful Shilpa Shinde, master of comedy Dr Sanket Bhonsle, the nightingale cum comedian Sugandha Mishra, Veteran Upasana Singh, and a bundle of talent Paritosh Tripathi and along with a few others who will be a part of this laughing riot.

 Produced by Lil Frodo Productions the concept of the show revolves around Bollywood and a crazy world of fictional situations / Spoofs /gags and banters which makes you laugh till you run out of your breath.

 When spoken to Sunil Grover he said that “Well, first of all, I feel immensely blessed to have received all the love for the show. As I said television is my root and beginning, this is the place from where I belong to. So I would rather say this as my homecoming and not as a comeback on television. Talking about the show, I did not have this thing on my cards. I loved the concept of the show which intrigued me to say a yes. I am excited all again and have been learning regularly from a bunch of talented artist in this show. We hope the audience loves this special offering and make Gangs of Filmistan a huge success.”
