Amir Khan comes on 'Hi Mumbai' to talk about Satyameva Jayate!

Amir Khan, the superstar and actor extraordinaire who has created waves with his latest venture on television – ‘Satyameva Jayate’ chose Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM as the platform to connect with his fans and listeners and get feedback on his show and  bonded with his favourite RJ Jeeturaaj to convey his thoughts to the city. RJ Jeeturaaj, the host of ‘Hi Mumbai’, Mumbai’s most popular breakfast show, and Amir Khan made it an exciting morning with their camaraderie as the duo discussed sensitive topics, the show and chatted with listeners. Starting from 7th May onwards, Amir Khan will be heard live on ‘Hi Mumbai’ every Monday to talk about the issues on his latest episodes and receive feedback from the listeners’ first-hand, only on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. 
 
Premiering on 6th May, ‘Satyameva Jayate’ received enormous appreciation as it tackled the much-highlighted issue of female foeticide. Touching a cord with the audience, the show received applause and evoked sentiments. RJ Jeeturaaj congratulated Amir and praised him for creating new content and generating immense buzz through this medium. The listeners were thrilled to hear some very candid comments as Amir said why he is excited to be on Radio Mirchi. Chatting with RJ Jeeturaaj, the icon said, “Satyameva Jayate is a two way dialogue for me. I am eager to know the listeners’ opinions, reactions and thoughts on latest issues every Monday after the show is aired and incorporate their feedback in my show”. 
 
The Mirchi listeners were given an exclusive chance to message and call the Mirchi hotline to ask Amir their queries on ‘Satyameva Jayate’. A lucky Mirchi listener from Thane, Payel, got the chance to ask Amir what inspired him to do this show and who is his inspiration and congratulated him for providing solutions to the critical issue of female foeticide as well. Warmth and good wishes poured in as listeners expressed their positive feedback. At the end of ‘Hi Mumbai’ both RJ Jeeturaaj and Amir urged families to prevent female foeticide and embrace the girl child with love and affection.
