Anita Nayyar bids adieu to Havas Media; set to join BCCL

Anita Nayyar has decided to move on from Havas Media after a stint of almost five years.She joined MPG India in 2007 and was subsequently elevated to the position of CEO of Havas Media- South Asia. Nayyar is on her way to join Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd (BCCL) which she is speculated to head customer strategy.

Said Vishnu Mohan,CEO, Havas Media- Asia Pacific on Anita Nayyar's decision to move on, "After 5 years, Anita leaves behind an organization 7 times stronger with several specialist brands that today are over 40% of group's portfolio and a strong talent force that are leaders in their own right. We thank her for her stewardship and wish her every success in this new stint on the other side after 28 years in the agency business. We are at present in the process of identifying a suitable leader for this role and should make an announcement to that effect shortly."

Its also learnt that interim Mohit Joshi Managing Partner at MPG India has been elevated to the position of Managing Director of MPG India.Mohit has been with the system for more than five years now.
