Arjit Taneja all keyed up on his pairing with Sriti Jha

Actor Arjit Taneja, who had started his career with Kaleerein, is all keyed up for his new show ‘Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye’, where he is playing a Delhi boy for the first time. For the new show, Arjit will be teaming up with his off-screen bestie, Sriti Jha. Although they have worked together in Kumkum Bhagya, this will be their first time together as a lead pair. This will be Arjit’s third show with Zee TV.

Speaking about his new show and his character- Virat, Arjit says: “It’s like coming home for me as I have already worked with Zee TV in the past. Sharing the screen with Sriti is definitely the best thing. I won’t deny that one of the reasons for joining the show is Sriti being part of this show. My character’s name is Virat, who is a Delhi boy as I also belong to Delhi, so it would be lovely to play this character, with a typical Delhi swag.”
Sharing more about his chemistry with Sriti, Arjit adds: “It will be fun when we will be doing the romantic scenes because we are best friends off-screen. And I know that our fans are excited too. Let’s hope we fulfill their expectations.”

Arjit was last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi in which he did quite well. On this, he said: “Khatron Ke Khiladi was very tough compared to working on a daily show. I would say both are different and so are the challenges. Working for more than 12 hours for almost a month is quite taxing. But I love being busy and working on the sets.”

Sharing his views on OTT and TV content, Arjit says: “TV audiences prefer to watch drama whereas OTT content is completely different. I have recently watched two series, Kaala Paani and Charlie Chopra which I liked a lot. If I get an opportunity to do a good role on OTT, I would love to.”
