Ashish Golwalkar joins Sony Pictures Network as Senior Creative Director

Putting all rumours to rest, Ashish Golwalkar joined Sony Pictures Networks (earlier known as Multi Screen Media) as Senior Creative Director of Sony Entertainment Television. Adgully had earlier reported in November about his exit from Star India as Content head for fiction and weekend programming. He was in talks with few other broadcaster after his stint at Star India, but there was high probability that his next endeavor would be with Sony TV. In his new role starting from today, Golwalkar will head all fiction and non-fiction format shows, and will also be responsible for commissioning of scripted and non-scripted shows.
