Ashok Amritraj bags a deal with Abu Dhabi firm

India born Hollywood producer Ashok Amritraj's Hyde Park Entertainment Group has bagged $75mn deal with Abu Dhabi firm Imagenation Imagenation Abu Dhabi to produce entertainment content over the next five years.

According to the reports, Imagenation Abu Dhabi and Hyde Park will fund three to four films a year - worth an estimated production value of $75 million over the next five years.

The two companies will forge an alliance with Singapore's Media Development Authority (MDA).

This is not the first allaince for both the groups. Imagenation Abu Dhabi and Hyde Park Entertainment first partnered in November 2008 on a USD 250 million financing deal to develop, produce and distribute up to 20 feature films over seven years - with additional financing for the production of local language and cross-cultural films
