Asia Retail Congress: Platform for exchanging ideas on Retail issues!

Asia retail congress, Asia's single most important global platform promoting world-class retail practices, took place few days back. The focus of the two day conference was to discuss and influence the issues for change in the retail industry. The Congress involved company chairs, presidents and CEOs from leading international and national retailers, directors of international and national retailers, and directors of international brands who believe in making change happen. All the industry veterans came together and discussed amazing topics so as to enable the listeners gather more and more knowledge about the ongoing issues in the retail industry.

Eminent speakers like Steve DelGiorno, VP (Asia Operations), Daymon Worldwide Inc and Vincenzo J. Ciummo, Managing Director, Global for Perception Research Services International covered two important topics like "Global Private Brand Trends" and "Getting it Right in  Store : How to maximize the efficiencies of your POS investments". Vincenzo Ciummo gave a presentation wherein he explained Shopper & Consumer Insights and also told how retailers and marketers can understand and influence the Path to Purchase.

Peter Magill, Vice President  Global Development Retail, DHL Supply Chain spoke about "Agile Supply Chain Management in growth Countries and Anthony D'Onofrio, Vice President Global Accounts/ Source Tagging, Tyco Retail Solutions spoke about "Intersection between Information Technology (IT) and Security Technologies Equals Much Smarter Stores".

Robbie Robertson, Managing Director and CoFounder, e2 gave a presentation on "Designing, developing and managing a truly memorable experience for shoppers" and Tara Prabhakar, Retail Development Director, TNS AsiaPacific told the "10 Myths of Traditional Trade".

The two conferences seemed to be a very distinguished platform for retail practices. All the sessions facilitated the listeners to gain knowledge on the current retail issues in the industry.
