Avengers: Endgame surpasses Avatar as top grossing film worldwide

The word is in, Avengers: Endgame has raked in a staggering $ 2.79 billion and beaten the decade old record by Avatar of $ 2.78 billion to become the highest grossing film of all time in a worldwide release. 

The film reported domestic (US) earnings of $854,216,193 (30.6%) and worldwide earnings of $1,936,000,000 ( 69.4%) adding up to a sum total of $2,790,216,193. The film's reported box office earnings in India came to a total of $61,457,787 as of 7th July 2019. Opening weekend earnings in India were reported as $26,757,337.
