Badshah releases Instagram’s 2022 recap template

As the year 2022 comes to an end, Instagram today released its 2022 Recap – a series of Reels templates to look back on your year, narrated by one of India’s biggest rappers - Badshah.  

With 2022 Recap, Instagram wants to encourage people to celebrate 2022 in a fun, personalized way with easy-to-use Reels templates narrated by a few of this year’s pop culture icons. People around the world can choose their preferred voiceover and language (English, Hindi or Spanish) to create a Reel highlighting their favorite photos, videos and memories of 2022. Available for several weeks, the templates make it easy to share all the unseen moments - big and small - that made this year special. 

Badshah, while talking about the reel template narrative by him, says, “It’s been an exciting year! Some highs and some lows, and this summarizes the journey of almost all of us. Here’s how you can create your own 2022 recap on Reels:

1. You should see a prompt in your Instagram Feed to create your Recap. The templates will also appear in your Reels template browser, and you can also access the template from each celebrity’s Instagram profile. 
2. Choose your preferred template and narration. 
3. Select your own content - videos, photos and memories - from the past year to feature in your Reel (at least 3 pieces of content are required). 
4. Upload and share!
