BARC ratings: Zee Anmol continues to be No. 1, Colors jumps to No. 2

Last week we reported how Zee Anmol bounced back to No. 1 slot from No. 3. Week 50 ended on a little unfavourable note as mostly all channels witnessed drop in their viewership numbers. Zee Anmol continued ruling the charts at No. 1 slot although there was a fall in its ratings from 779821 to 752782.  Colors emerged at No. 2 with marginal decrease in ratings from 746799 to 725713. Star Plus flips to No. 3 from No. 2 slot (last week) with ratings of 707219. Zee TV, Star Utsav and Life Ok maintained their respective positions of being No 4, No. 5 and No. 6 however all of them witnessed drop in viewership numbers. Sony TV and Sony SAB too did not throw much surprise and maintained their respective rank of being No. 7 and No. 8 with ratings of 365546 and 328664 respectively. Rishtey too stick to its No. 9 position with ratings of 272506. At No. 10, Sony Pal ratings drastically dropped from 302045 to 238738.

Top 5 Programs in Hindi GEC

Colors’ Nagin is still ruling the charts and its ratings escalated to 18525 from 17819. Saath Nibhana Saathiya stayed at No. 2 slot with ratings of14850 as against 15344 last week. Ek Se Bhale Do rose to No. 3 from No. 5 owing to its surge in ratings to 13051 from 12492 last week. Kumkum Bhagya slipped to No.4 with ratings of 13014 and newly entrant Jamai Raja at No. 5 slot, gave ratings of 12154.

Top Hindi Movie Channels

After ruling at No. 1 slot for weeks, Sony MAX slipped to No. 2 slot while Zee Cinema emerged as most watched Hindi movie channel with ratings of 386974 as against 370768 in week 49. Star Gold and Movies OK stayed back at their respective slots with ratings of 340752 and 254913 respectively. At no. 5, &pictures ratings improved from 177495 to 217900.
