BARC Wk 14: HUL remains top advertiser; Coca Cola, Pepsi Foods see gains

Hindustan Unilever continued to top the list of Top 10 Advertisers in Week 14 as well, as per BARC data (Week 14: Saturday, 2nd April 2022 To Friday, 8th April 2022). The conglomerate garnered 5337.26(000) seconds ad volume.

Reckitt Benckiser Group was placed second with ad volume of 2473.78(000) seconds. The next two spots were taken up rivals – Coca Cola India and Pepsi Foods. Placed in the third spot, Coca Cola India garnered 1029.19(000) seconds ad volume, while Pepsi Foods followed with ad volume of 954.03(000) seconds.

Proctor & Gamble was ranked fifth with ad volume of 844.23(000) seconds.

The Top 10 Brands continue to reflect the consumers’ preference for household cleaners and healthcare and hygiene based brands, a preference that grew manifold during the pandemic period. Thus, Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean was the most ad volumes at 390.86(000) seconds.
