It also allows its readers to revel in loads of irreverence and attitude with its stunningly produced car features.

Commenting on the launch, Tarun Rai CEO Worldwide Media said "BBC TopGear has always been very different from a clutch of similar looking auto magazines. Jeremy Clarkson refers to TopGear as the "shiniest auto magazine in the world' and a leading car company head called it the "playboy of auto magazines'. Top Gear captures the joy of driving and bases its advice on first hand driving experience rather than technical mumbo-jumbo. Its irreverence means that the advice readers get, is unbiased, easy to understand and completely trustworthy. And TopGear believes in capturing the joy of driving cars through breath taking visual spreads. The new Top Gear pushes the differentiation even more. With more news, more features, more test drives and a more exciting layout. The world of cars and bikes just got more exciting".

Debolin Sen Publisher BBC TopGear Magazine elaborates "By leveraging its global experience in automotive journalism, the New BBC TopGear Magazine will fill the vacuum that exists in the reader's "automotive' life. It will also expose him to a complete automotive experience in a style bristling with irreverence, authority and originality. All this for just Rs. 100/-"
