BCCI invites bids for title sponsorship rights for Women’s Premier League 2023-27

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the release of Request for Proposal for Title Sponsorship Rights for Women’s Premier League Seasons 2023-2027.

The detailed terms and conditions governing the tender process, including eligibility requirements, process for submissions of bids, rights and obligations of the title sponsor, etc. are contained in the ‘Request for Proposal’ (RFP), which will be made available on receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs 1 lakh plus Rs 18,000 Goods and Services Tax. The RFP will be available for purchase till February 9, 2023.

As reported earlier, Viacom18 Media has acquired the media rights for Women’s Premier League Seasons 2023-2027 for a cumulative figure of Rs 951 crore (that is, Rs 7.09 crore per match).

BCCI recently completed bids for the teams for the inaugural Women’s Premier League. Bids were up for five teams, and garnered Rs 4,669.99 crore in total bids for seasons 2023-27. Adani Sportsline had the top bid of Rs 1,289 crore for the Ahmedabad team.
