BCCL welcomes Sunil Lulla as Managing Director ' Times Television Group

Adgully had reported on December 4 morning that Sunil Lulla had quit as the CEO of Real; it can now confirm that he has returned to the Bennett Coleman and Company Ltd (BCCL) fold.

Lulla was the CEO of Times Global Broadcasting till February 2008. The company owns Times Now and ET Now channels. Now, Lulla has reentered BCCL assuming a larger role: that of the managing director of the Times Television Group. In addition to Times Now and ET Now, the group runs Zoom, a channel focusing on lifestyle.

The Times Group is known to welcome back key people who quit the group but later show a willingness to return. Many current and past employees of the Times have told Adgully that they were thrilled by Lulla's return. They also commended the group for being an extraordinary 'institution'.
