Bhumi Pednekar's Vision: Luxury & Sustainability for Kaia Investment

Bollywood actor and climate warrior Bhumi Pednekar, is a beacon of compassion and purpose. I choose films keeping in mind how it will push the envelope of content in India. As a human being, I’m programmed to question society and champion women.”

She has recently invested into the hospitality sector, joining hands with Chrome Asia Hospitality for Kaia, the group’s first boutique hotel in Goa. Her vision for the investment is to build a one-of-a-kind destination that would offer luxury along with sustainable practices.

Bhumi added, “I’m the same human being off-screen or on-screen and I think I have a very strong core belief system. I feel I can use my voice to raise awareness on climate change and mobilise people to protect earth when I’m not shooting for films. Now, as I begin my journey as an entrepreneur, I’m trying to back people and businesses that are looking to make a difference. My foray into hospitality as an investor with Kaia is to create a community that is looking to travel sustainably. I think as an investor, I’m going to back businesses that are looking to have a positive impact on society or on nature. I gravitate to those people and belief systems naturally as it is an extension of my personality.”
