Bhuvan Arora Receives an IMDb STARmeter Award

IMDb (www.imdb.com), the world's most popular and authoritative source for information on movies, TV shows, and celebrities, presented an IMDb “Breakout Star” STARmeter Award to Farzi star Bhuvan Arora. IMDb STARmeter Awards recognize talent who are strong performers on the IMDb exclusive rankings and those who are trending on the IMDb app-exclusive Popular Indian Celebrities feature. Both chart the page views of the more than 200 million monthly visitors to IMDb worldwide.

Arora can currently be seen in crime thriller Farzi, which achieved a stellar feat of becoming the biggest opening for a new local original show on Prime Video in India. He plays Firoz, the partner-in-crime and best friend of Sunny (Shahid Kapoor), aartist who gets pulled into counterfeiting when he creates the perfect fake currency. The show is trending as one of the top web series in India this year. It has an IMDb user rating of 8.4 as of March 29. The thriller also scaled a global milestone as it entered the top 10 trending titles lists on Prime Video in multiple countries and territories around the world, including India, U.S., UK, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia. Arora’s credits also include Shuddh Desi RomanceTevarThe Test Case, and Bank Chor.
